SLC Student Referral (Faculty) SLC Student Referral Referral Workflow Report Step 1: Student Contact During this step, SLC staff will attempt to make contact with the student. If the SLC is able to make contact, SLC staff will urge the student to meet with a tutor; however, the SLC cannot guarantee that the student will setup an appointment with a tutor. If the student does not want too meet with a tutor, the SLC will record why and will recommend a different student/academic service to the student. Step 2: Make an appointment with a tutor/coach During this step, SLC staff will setup an appointment between the student and his/her tutor/coach. Using the information in the referral and the information gathered from the student, the SLC will also record plans for the tutoring session/coaching session If you have not yet entered the student into the SLC's appointment system, do so by clicking here. When you have entered the appointment into the SLC's appointment system, come back to this page and update the "Have you entered the student appointment into the SLC's appointment system?" field. Step 3: Post Appointment Update During this step, SLC staff will setup an appointment between the student and his/her tutor. Using the information in the referral and the information gathered from the student, the SLC will also record plans for the tutoring session If you have not yet entered the student into the SLC's appointment system, do so by clicking here. When you have entered the appointment into the SLC's appointment system, come back to this page and update the "(No show) Have you entered the student appointment into the SLC's appointment system?" field. After your session, choose one of the following options that best described the tutoring session: The student was productive and prepared. The student was not productive during the session.
